You and your walks, stories and passionate political explainatiions that were never patronising towards those who may not have been in the know.

Some hillarious but unrepeatable jokes that caused some of us to choke on our ale.

I remember a group walk that you led one New Year. It was foggy as we struggled through the boggy landscape. As the day progressed and the light began fading in the late afternoon, it became apparent that we may be in a spot of trouble! 
Despite my and a few others barely disguised panic as we experienced a creeping white out approching then closing in on us, we trusted that you would get us back safely, which you did.
